He may look dirty, but he's really one of the most dangerous kinds of people out there...he's a Redneck Genius. There is no end to his ingenuity.

Tru dat. He did spend a lot less on his boat than I did. I wonder if he has to have a Launch Sticker? It is a motorized watercraft.

The end is when the duct-tape roll is empty
Is he flexing his bicep?

Has anyone tried to build that thing? I am not-so-secretly curious as to whether it would actually work.

A junkyard bass boat contest would be great for the get togethers. Set a monetary limit on the materials and see what everyone comes up with

Redneck yacht?!

c'mon - a home made pontoon boat...imagine longer, shaped foam, covered/sealed in fiberglass - spaced wider apart.... a better seat, etc., etc.
It would (likely) work for getting out on some ponds and tiny lakes!
Now, in NY, any motor powered "vessel" needs to be registered...

They essentially have those. Any of the small bass hunters, and also the mini-pontoons follow the basic layout that guy set.

But the exquisite beauty is in the pink foam from home depot and the 25 year old lawn chair that was plucked from the garbage. Even the wood he used was 1 step from being used for firewood.
