The best stuff is Bull Urine, but it has to be fresh. You have to sneek up on him and scare it out of him. Hold the bottle really close and run like heck when you get it. Then come home and get your wife to rub it on you.

My wife just got into a mess of poison ivy about a month ago when we were cleaning out the garden.....it bout eat her up and drove her crazy even when using the Calamine lotion.....then a friend of ours dropped off a bottle of "Benadryl itch stopping gel"....The wife said that made all the difference and was the best product she'd ever used to fight the itch....she swears by it....Got it from Walmart.....Try a bottle.

By the way...the stuff is clear so no more pink spots....lol

when I get the itch I just shave. I meant to say that last night king. Benadryl works on my wife as well. Poison Ivy doesn't bother me though.

Thats me too....never had the stuff.....i've rolled around in it as a kid and it bout killed my brother but it never bothered me....still doesn't....go figure.

thanks guys, I went to the doctor, and an now on prednisone. I've got benadryl spray, which hasn't done crap... and some cortisone 10 cream, works better.

I also learned that you can't spread poison ivy by touch, so I don't have to wash my hands every two minutes when I touch it, lol.

anthony, take some socks and have them taped on your hands. that'll keep you from scratching . hahahaha. sorry ya got the ivy pal.

for real do NOT rub your eyes after you touch it though. i don't care WHAT they say, seen guys do it and get it in their eyes.

I'd try that sock thing, but I think it'd be hard to thumb a spool, and we're going fishing tomarrow, so I'll just hold myself back from scratching.

yeah me either. i dont get any of the poison stuff. the only time i've ever gotten it, was when putting up a deer stand last year, i got cut up from bryars and came in contact with some poison oak, and it got directly to the bloodstream, otherwise, i walk through the woods in shorts and a tee and never get it
