can any one tell me about a website that talks about making custom plastics.

Yes...and it's a real humdinger!!! www.tackleunderground.com is a superb site. They offer numerous message boards in a variety of subjects.....soft plastic pouring, crankbait making, wire lures, and on and on. Loaded with information.
You may also want to contact Senko Sam who often posts on this board as well as on www.nybass.com There are others on this board and the ny board who also pour their own and can be of great help as well. Just to start with, try the tackleunderground.com site and take your time...there is a lot there to learn from. Also some good advice from time to time about lure making from a few on the www.riversmallies.com message board. Try also doing a search on each of the message boards if you need specifics. Just really read around on the tackleundergournd site like mac. Said take your time read a bunch of posts and you can piece the directions together.
