Heard of these?
Hey guys, I was recently given a bag of flukes. Half of them are zooms, however the others I have never seen before. They are in a watermelon red flake with a pearl belly. They have a long tail with a small paddle at the end. They have the name "Charlie's" written on the top, but I have not been able to find anything online about the.
They look pretty nice, and I can't wait to give them a try. Anyone heard of them?

Bein in FL, I would say it is a saltwater lure made by one of the hundreds of small local lure makers inthe state somewhere...

Could be an old discontinued bait. I used to have some Charlie's worms, caught a bunch of fish on them.. can't find them any where now!

Yeah, I think they are a local company. I know Roland Martin's (I think it's his) charter shop on lake Okee has got 'em.

I just took these for you guys. I did my best to bring out the printing on the back of it. I fish worms of a similar color and do well. I am thinking it should work with these too. Maybe I can try and get some reds too if they are made for saltwater

Those look interesting. If anyone comes across some and wouldn't mind sending them let me know.

I've used them, they have been around for a few years. They are called Charlies Twitchin Shad. They are made for bass, and distributed mostly around Florida. They work like a fluke, but the little tail paddles a wee bit for a different look. Good lure.
Edit; I did a google search and they might have been discontinued. If so, its a real shame. |

It looks like a cross between a fluke and a swimbait. Just like Zooms new Swimmin fluke. You can try the swimmin flukes if you want John. Almost the same thing. I beleive they have that color too. go to www.tacklewarehouse.com to find em
