I haven't seen any comparison pics yet. I first heard about this about the time the 10xd was released, not sure who copied who. I doubt LC and SK both came up with the idea independently of each other though. I am glad to see that LC will have a shallow version to go with the deep version.

I almost bought one of the "shallow" runners at the Expo. The shallower version says it runs 15' on the box? I know a couple lakes that the bass eat big gizzard shad that I could really see them working well on.

If you think about it, most of the basses food is about that size. I think a 3 or even 2 pounder is more likely to eat a 5 in bream over a 2.5 or 3" bream! Seems like it would work well!

I be excited to try it just to see if it doesn't pull as hard as the 10XD....Which has quite a bit.

I really like the SB version along with the DD.....That one Ill definitely look at!

I'd really like to get my hands on one or two. I bet they are going to cost around $25.00 Just a guess though. If they handle like he said they do, I can just imagine the big ole deeper water bass eatting them up. I'm not sure about that "LOUD" rattle though. The size alone will draw enough attention just from vibration. That is a loud rattle!

I wonder if I can find a tapered broom stick to wrap guides on? Do you have to anchor fishing deep cranks from a yak?
