Canyon Lake 12-23-07
Did a little shore fishing at Canyon Lake yesterday. We stopped at Boat Ramp #1 and walked along the right cliff, about halfway to the dam. It was evening and about 40 degrees and clear. I landed 4 bass, biggest was 3 pounds and Kyle caught a dink smallie. Not bad at all for canyon lake, its a pretty hard lake to fish. Well take our kayaks there next time and go for some striper below the dam.

Nice to see a report from Canyon again. Reb and FlyRod have kind of fallen off the reporting wagon. I will be there for a tournament in February and will post a report after that.

nitro, not to horn in on texasbasser's thread here but i wanted to know something. Have you ever fished out of Medina Lake?....i have seen it and i really love the atmosphere it has. Just curious if there's alot of fish in there or not. Thought this spring i would make the jaunt to SA and do some fishing in my boat.
