June 19th-21st Middletown-Royaltown PA Susky River
Tin boats suggested but not required.
Muster at the Red Roof Inn June 19th
Launch at 7 am Saturday at this cord 40.185677,-76.733451 (google map it)

Hotel is located at 40.239899, -76.804444 The Red Roof Inn is a better deal than the Days Inn and has resturants all around it.

Red Roof Inn 950 Eisenhower Blvd., Harrisburg, PA‎ - (717) 939-1331‎
This is a better price and location..

Also across the street is a cigar shop and Northern Tool clearance center.

BPS is just down the road also.

I will cook lunch to be ready at 2 pm at the dock for all who attend.
Chicken and Italian hot sausages is my thoughts. I will have many side dishs too. Need a head count for the meal.
Sunday is a 7am launch and your on you own from there.

So let get a head count for Saturday meal.

Do not forget your PA license available at

https://www.theoutdoorshop.state.pa....97267F154A387F

I suggest a three day tourist to cut cost.

Also do I still need to bring a spare motor?

I am looking forward to also.

I even have a second smallie trip setup in August on the New River in VA for two days of guided fishing with Duncan McGrath.

Yep, Capt mike got it covered.
One thing we really need to get onto is a boatcount and figure out who is fishing with who.

I will bring my boat but I hoping that I don't have to navigate shallow water like I do on the Big D (takes some time to learn the chutes). i can take one passenger (if we are in a pinch and the water isn't shallow, I can add another passenger but my preference is one).

Sorry I've got to bail on this one. I've got $$ tournaments every weekend through July except Memorial Day and that weekend and I've picked up some extra work to pay the entry fees. I'd love to be there since I've got some sweet new custom tubes and more coming soon. I've had serious smallmouth guys ordering 500 and 1000 tubes in custom colors and sizes for NY and Iowa/S.D. that would probably tear up some of those smallies.

Since I can't be there I'll see if I can get you a small mixed bag to share and let everyone test out some of them.

I might come with my dad... But don't count on it yet... Still need to ask him about it. We don't own a boat though. As of now, just don't worry about me ... get the others straightened out and I will get back to you on this.

And my mouth is watering now...
And my dad just might come along with us to the get together, but he would not be fishing. Would there be any problem with that?

Sure, I'll take Cranky but what about his Dad? Should we pair him with Bassin'Tom? If the water isn't too shallow, i might be able to take him in my boat. Mike, what are the water conditions like?

Yesterday I had a couple of guys who fished it last week and got 14 smallies over 3 lbs each in two days. Water was up 4 feet and flow was typical spring flow. He said the water was clear behind the islands and only 66 degrees. June is a ways away so expect normal water flow and clear water. Average depth will be about 6 feet except where the rocks stick out.

Link is for Harrisburg PA just above the area we fish. Meter is located on the rollover dam. The most northern point a boat can go.

That would be great since I will be bringing only three tackle boxes. And 12 rods.
If his Dad fishes that will work.. Cranky chime in. And I will adjust the roster.
