Big topwater stick bait like spook or big sammy and big jig/trailer combo, plus exactly what BB said. Fish open water or close to structure in less than 10 ft of water.

I was reading somewhere, might have been here. Anyways, keep a constant cadance when bringing in the bait. Don't change the rythym up too much. Discussed fish will time the bait for the strike and changing the cadance of the bait could cause the fish to miss the lure on the strike.

That's exactly right. That's why I love a jitterbug at night.

if you are fishing with soft plastics or a jig then use flouresent line and a black light. the line will glow so much it looks like rope. makes it a lot easier to detect bites.

Try a large spinnerbait, 3/8oz to 1/2oz, single colorado or tandem colorado, black head and skirt matched with a pork or plastic chunk. Cast to shoreline cover, parallel shoreline if possible, retrieve with an easy lift drop/drop. An alternate is to pop the rod tip a couple times right after the lure hits the water- try to mimic a frog jumping in the water and kicking it's legs a few times to escape. Watch a frog swim sometime, they have a kick kick glide motion. Copy that with your retrieve.

real simple. If they hit it during the day they will hit it at night. My favorites are single short armed blade spinnerbait. or 10 inch Texas rigged worm. I also have success at times on a jig, buzzbait,or crankbiat like a shad rap. Black, red, purple are main stays. I fish about 3 nights per week this time of year. I preferr 3 days before the full moon or three days after the full moon. I also like 3 days before or after the dark moon.Usen a black light and florescent line. Fish2win
