Default Wet a hook this evening.

Ya know....the good thing about my buddy Ron having purchased a new boat is, and I quote..."If i'm gonna be makin boat payments we better use this damn thing a little more often"....Hahahaha.....I couldn't agree more.

So we hit the local lake just 15 minutes from the house.....With all the recent rains the water level was at max spillway level, with lots of debris floating everywhere. Water temps were in the low 80's to my surprise so I guess it was a warm rain....lol. I did manage to catch three chunky little bass in the 2# range, and several Warmouths that kept hammering my Ragetail Spacemonkey like they were mad at it or sumthin....lol. Instead of the bite picking up at dusk, it just died for some reason, but we still had a good time, and I got some more practice time on the trollin motor.

Sounds like a decent outing. 80 temp on the water? I could only dream of having water in my neck of the woods that warm.

That's what you get IB, fishing all that snowmelt. Now go find yourself a muddy pond.
