1st place in last weeks Bounty Fishing
I was fishing in the central divison last week in the bountyfishing.com online tourney. A buddy and myself took last Thursday off work and went fishing the day before the cold front came through. We actually caught over 75 bass that day but lost count between 75 and 100. It was one of the best days i have ever had for sheer numbers and decent size. My biggest of the day was a little over 20 inches long. That put me in first place for the bounty central division and my buddy took 2nd place with a 19 7/8 in bass. Both of our bass weighed about 5lbs each but this is strictly about length. I won $100 bucks and he got $50 for 2nd place. On an interesting side note, 3rd place went to a guy from eastern Kansas that I know from another forum and who joined bounty on my recomendation. This was his first bounty tourney and he won $25 buck for 3rd place.
PS. This is for Kory. The fish you caught at grand would have probably beaten me out for 1st place had you been in this also. |

Yeah that sucks lol. I totally forgot about bountyfishing.com and I was stoked to fish some tournaments with them this year too. I will have to join and try a few of them.
Sounds like you had a great day, congrats. |

Seriuosly though, for you guys that live in the central states, we need more people to sign up so we can get the payouts up and have more tourneys. The next central bass is, I think the week of june 6th. It looks like they are also doing a bluegill tourney that week so you could win in both species for one entry fee. All it takes is a decent digital camera and a tape measure. |
