Default I guess it was bound to happen

I am not the not so proud owner of a two piece 7'3" carrot stick. It broke between the 3rd and 4th eyelet. There is no crush or nicks. Just a sanpped rod.
I had a 2lbs fish on and was simply reeling it in. Hookset was not overly harsh.
Looks like I will get to find out the waranty process.

Have you thought about buying a Tigerod. Tim is a super guy and can build you a rod that you will absolutely love. Check them out.

good luck , remember take deep breaths and try to relax before talking to the person at the counter. if that doesn't work do your best to cause a scene .

I am not too worried about making a scene. I bought it at one of the local tackle shops, so I should be okay.

I just got off the phone with the tackle shop. They said to bring it on down and they will ship it off for me. I am a little perturbed that they do not honor the over the couter exchange, but at least I am getting the rod back without having to pay the $30 that E21 wants to deal directly with me.
