I know some of you don't like people posting links but this couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Dave Mendez is a super nice guy. His lure is awesome. Its truly is a blessing to be a part of the Lock Lizard family.

Yeah , it could have. It could have happened to me.

Those lures are pretty sweet. I may have to buy a five.

I wonder if I can widdle me up something like that?

lol c-morg. They are really good baits. If you buy four from Dave I will give you one. Email me for more info.

Bassboss the thing is its pretty weedless. He is coming out with a new version in couple months and it will be weedless. I guarantee you will be pleased.

This was one fish I caught one the lure.

This is another fish I caught on it. I have caught well over 150 fish on this bait.

I seen a video where the tail unscrews and you can thread on a grub , and take off the treble hook , install a widegap and rig it weedless. Sweet.

Cool! Sounds like what I did with one of my "mouse" poppers. Use a 1/0 wide gap hook and but on a worm. Didn't turn out some well sadly.

What do you mean when you say "pretty weedless?" Isn't there a treble hook on the underside of it with no weed guard whatsoever?

To me, "weedless" means I can fish it in lily pads and through reeds like I do with a buzzbait, weedless jitterbug, etc.

Actually waterboy even with the hook exposed it dosent get caught up that much. I fish it in grass all the time and around lilly pads. Its an explosive bait in the pads.
Pretty weedless means half weedless lol. There will be a new version of the Lock Lizard coming out pretty soon. It will be able to be more versatile as well. This bait is not just a top water bait. You can put a split shot 6 inches about the know and twitch it like a jerk bait or you can put a little heavier split shot on it and kill the bass on the beds.
If you have any questions just ask.

I love fishing with lizards. Where can you buy those lures?

go to my website for their link. www.locklizard.net

The best way to work this bait is to throw it out and count to ten. Then barely twitch your rod and count to 8 second then pause for 2 seconds and repeat. think of a lizard swimming. when you bring it next to grass or stumps stop it for a second and usually the bass will explode on it.

I was thinking.....

You could also use a double hook. Just make the points pointing towards the back and that should make them much more weedless!
