jigs
hey i recently started fishing jigs hoping to get real good at using them and i have been getting alot of moss and junk from off the bottom and i was wondering if this was normal or if there is something i can do to prevent this. Thx!

Depending where you are fishing, yes, and not a lot-about the only thing to do is use a smaller/lighter jig. In water that has a lot of what we call snot moss a weightless soft plastic is about the only thing you can use. You also might fish the edges rather than the center if you are picking up a lot of stuff. Th only time I fish a jig in weeds is when I am pitching/flipping which isn't very often.
