Right now it just plain sucks. Every 3ed or 4th day the rains settle in and the fish go into a panic. Water temps are jumping around 78 to 83 depending on where u at. For some reason they wont settle into there normal summer modes. They just kinda wondering around with no purpose.

tourney is on the 20 and 21. Still got 2 weeks to go. In fact going in a few to hunt down some toads HOPEFULLY

Since this is a BIG BASS tourney, I would use the full size Paca Craws, and bigger Flukes. Those both have produced the bigger fish for me here in Florida the last couple of weeks. Go get em Hawg Catcher LOL

Well an update on the prefishing. Caught 2 over 4, 2 over 3 and 5 around 1 1/2 yesterday in one of my old spots. Thats the best I have done in several weeks. Was using a 1 2 3 pinch. All the hype about these horny toads and cane toads etc etc I was throwing a ribbit. Would gettem to come out and take a wack at it and follow up with a scum frog or bass assasin. Caught 2 on the ribbit. I like the way the ribbit works but dont like the hardness of the ribbit. Gonna give em a try again today but with the horny toads this time. They seem to be softer therefore may be able to get a hookset with these.
