boys boys... iron man is havin diffaculty because the mag brakes are BACKWARDS the knob is on the left side it turns the excate same way as a right handed knob.

ironing
as you hold the rod like you are casting turn the knob toward you -clockwise- to tighten. away from you-counter clockwise- to loosen.. it is easy to get confused with a lefty set up. i know i used righty reels for years then started switch hitting.. remembering the differance is the key to it..

if i had not been using a lefty reel this morning the 6.1 pounder would have got off. he hit the jig as i was stripping line off. lefty reel was on the job 2 seconds faster than a right handed reel would have been

i went out today and decided to get a less complicated one and one that is for begginers so I do want to sell it still zooker.

A really good beginners reel, is a shakespeare sigma, 35$ at wallys, fill it with 12 lb big game mono, and s you should be good to go.
