March 26th Report
It's always neat to meet people you only know on the internet. It's even better when they're great people. We had a some fun today. It rained all morning. Ted and DeAnne arrive at noon and the rain just stopped. We headed south the get a break from the SSW winds that had not arrived but, were predicted. They didn't disappoint. Showed up just as the tide changed and we had a fish on. For it's size, it was very tentative. Not a drag screamer as you would have expected. The bunch of fish we caught were all on the top side of eaters, too big for the kung fu grip but, well within size range. Two whiskerless striped catfish on black salties. Ted had wondered aloud if they would make good rockfish bait for live lining...
Fun trip and I'll see Ted again Saturday. Capt Dave
