I have to say you really need to change the rules somehow. I do now have a digital camera,(not that I can post pics yet) but I think you are leaving lots of folks out of the tournament, because they either don't have a camera, or can't get the pictures posted to quickly. You need to give them more time to get them loaded up, and posted. I would say 2 weeks after the tournament to post pictures. Yaeh I know there's too many that could cheat, but that's easy for those who chose to anyway, because they can load up whatever in 5 minutes anyway. If it's not important for them to get it done in 2 weeks, then you know they didn't have enough to win anyways. The other issue is the size of water to me. I know most of you know a small pond is a lot easier to catch fish out of. I'm truly not posting any of this for myself. I don't need anymore baits(even though I keep buying them). Perhaps it should just be who catches the biggest 5 fish in the month of september, pictures required. That way they could post as they go, and kinda cull the pictures during the month. Here's a good example of how you could keep folks out. Lets say you work, and the next week you have to work 7 days because of whatever. And the tourney is during that time, well then how could you even participate. Or even more relavant here is kids in school, who can't drive. I mean how realistic of a tourney is it, with folks fishing in a pond in Florida, VS Folks fishing in a huge reservoir in PA. Not even close to the same circumtances or chances for fish.

1. You'll track what is winning weight.
2. Gives everyone a chance to at least participate if they choose.
3. Get to see lots of big fish hopefully.

However the Biggest thing you need whether you change the rules or not, is a better organization on WHERE THE RESULTS/PICTURES WILL BE POSTED. Last time there was like 6 different posts, all having something to do with the tournament. It needs to be a sticky post, and it needs to be either in "Fishing Reports", or "Message Boards". And everyone needs to post the results on the same post, not each person having there own post.

This is for Kevin.

Perhaps you should have a tourney angler award for those who do fish tourneys. Meaning the highest winning weight, or largest bass caught in a tourney for the month. The tourneys are easy to verify, so the weights would be certified usually, not just guesstimated, or figured by bumbling hands, and equipment. I suggest the sponsors kick in the prizes. I will be kicking in something myself on the next one, but it will be a very specific thing to win it. Such as the smallest bass caught during the month(pictures are a must) LOL. Anyway I'm still waiting on the Bassfishin.com actual tourney. You have plenty of folks here, that could be your tourney director(definately not me). I'm sure plenty of the sponsors would help out with prizes, plus tackle junkies such as myself. Pretty easy to just pick a place for either this winter or next year.(say somewhere in AL where Larry could be there too, and maybe pick up more business. I mean as many members as you have, you can't help but get some folks there. I would really enjoy meeting some of the folks on the site at this tourney, plus maybe we could throw some of the turds, in the lake too. Just some thoughts, but seems to me too many variables go into this internet tourney to be realistic. Not sure if any of this works, especially with the boat situation.

Just give a deadline to post the catch and then give a deadline of about 2 weeks to post the pics. I have a dvd handycam but yet to figure out how to get the pics. here.....................
