FishinFortune caught a nice fish, but its not as nice as he says. He basically fudged the size by using every little trick he could to add an inch or half inch here or there, thus overestimating the size of the fish by a full 2 1/2 inches length wise and who knows regarding the girth.

He did this a number of ways;

A: He had the ruler moved too far back from the mouth of the fish in the first pic

B: He cut off the tail in the first pic, making the 2nd pic nessesary.

C: He moved the ruler even farther to the left for the 2nd pic, showing that he knew what he was doing and that A and B had not been accidental.

D: Then turned around and claimed an extra half inch, even though if the 2nd pic were accurate it would have been 19 1/2 inches in length, not 20.

E: Claimed a 12 inch girth, which was possible, its hard to tell on photos, but given that it was 17 1/2 inches long that was probably overestimated a bit too. He also used metal tape for the girth, which is ok if you take up the slack...but did he? Does it look like he did in the pic?

Couple that with the fact that they were being watched already because they already tried to sneak a fish by me, and I am sure that they are willfully colluding in trying to steal this tourney. Not on my watch. The team of Texasbasser and Fishingfortune is hereby disqualified from the team tourney.

Please, for a visual explanation see the pic attached. The letters correspond to the letters I cited above.

In reality, the fish was a nice one, about 17 1/2" by 10-11 inches. That would have been in the neighborhood of 2 2/3 pounds, which would have put them in good position to win the tourney. But in the name of trying to win at all costs, they caused themselves both their chance at victory...and their reputations...and for what, a pound and a half? What FF did here is no different than shoving lead or shiners down a bass' throat in a real tourney.

So, other anglers, know thine wrath.

Angry

i had no intention on cheating and i am very angry. its hard enough to get the fish to hold still,name tag not blow away , get good pic ,and have tape visable. i was trying to hurry and get the fish back in the water.i got ready to take pic and noticed you couldn t see the letters on the tape.i moved camera in and got the numbers visabul ,but did not notice the tail was cut off .i then got pic of tail to make it numbers clearly visabual. the fish might be 19 1/2 and thats fine fine. the girth ,all i had was a tape measesure and i got the best pic i could. i am highly affended that you right away think i am trying to cheat.

Kid, the fish was 17 1/2 inches. It wasn't close to 19 1/2 and certainly not 20. You could look at the pics and see that.

Anyways, you guys are out. Your team was warned before, and this is what you get. Like I said, this is no different than stuffing lead down a bass in a real tourney and then crying about getting caught. That is all.

texasbasser clearly cheated. BIG time.i promise i did not cheat and if i did it is alot smaller than texasbasser. nothing happened to tex.i get dq ed for something you have no proof of. texasbasser addmided chaeting. you can find something wrong with any pic in the tourny and then say they chaeted. this is unfair to me just because wtl hates me for using the name fishinpimp when i started on the site.

You and tex were punished as a team, but I gave you guys a chance to come back. You dont seem to get the concept of teams. You live and die by the compliance as a team and your weight as a team. Your friend, Texasbasser claimed to have caught a 8 pound bass and you said nothing...and now you admitted he cheated. Of course since yall know each other and fish the same lake, you would know if he had caught an 8 pound bass...so I always did consider you 100% complicit in that episode of cheating alongside your teamate. You knew. You were guilty then as you are guilty now.

Then you cheat "a little", and considering I was being overtly kind to yall to allow you to remain in the competion before, I had no choice but to disqualify you this time.

As for any personal grudge that I may or may not have against you...well here is my opinion. I think you are a dumb kid. That actually worked in yalls favor when I excused you the first time for something that most people would have been run out on a rail for. But since you are, again, a dumb kid, you are too wet behind the ears to realize that.

Wow... I was going to avalanche down on texasbasser's fish and how the penalty was too light. It was a clear attempt at cheating, no bull like "oh i wanted to see who was good at computers" What the hell? What is wrong with you? And then this... Dude you are dumb as dumb can get. That was a low move and I'm glad you guys are DQed because you should have been DQed at the first attempt. I bet if nobody pointed out that you were cheating it would have gone unnoticed, and you wouldn't come out. And fishinfortune, learn grammar and punctuation before flipping out... It looks very funny.

Now excuse me while i go out and attempt to bag this tourney. WITHOUT CHEATING!

As cranky pointed out too I was gonna say something about that last fish but WTl beat me to it. Real sad guys!

But on a better note I got 8 bass this morning and have 3 to enter. Not even close to the size I wanted but it will boast my weight till culling time!

13.5x8=1.22lb.

13.25x7.5=1.1lb.

14x8.25=1.35

This is a total of four fish @ 6.30lbs.

Updated standings:

1. Christopherkeene9 and Partner Needed
1. 2.63 lbs
2. 1.22 lbs
3. 1.1 lbs
4. 1.35 lbs
Total: 6.3

2. Skeeter944 and Tenmilefisher
1. 3.91 lbs
2. 2.27 lbs
Total: 6.18 lbs

3. TexasBasser and FishinFortune

Again, ChristopherKeene needs a partner NOW and for any noncompetitor who joins, they would be joining a team that is in the lead.

The tourney ends the 12th so GET ON THE BALL!

You have a week.

fihsinfortune, you called me last night to ask how to post pictures on the site. after telling you how to d oit, i asked if you did everything right. id, lenth, girth. you said that everything was perfect and we now should have like 5 pounds total. I am very amazed of how you tryed to cheat. i understand that i did something just as bad, and wtll let us off with only a penalty. It is very clear though, that the fish is only 17 ish lenth.

I understand that we are disqualified, and i am aware that me starting this cheating probably influenced you to do it aswell. very sorry wtl and others

wtl, i am sure that you are very cautios of me and fishinfortune, but will i or we still be able to participate in the Big Bass tounry or another team tourny?
you could require us to do somthing extra, to make it sure that we arent cheating. i understand if you wont allow us to, but fishing is my favorite thing in the world, and i love competing with others to see how i stand.
