Jb
JB, Your post I read was a true inspiration to me. I tried to be clever to think of a good signature but fell a little short. Anyway its there because of you & your post.If I connect with any more posts you type, I am going to seek therapy because I know I am way out there, hovering about some where in outer space. P N J

Hey thanks pnj
For me, it was like a twenty year learning curve, I remember going fishing at all the big lakes and never catching jack shyt, or just one compared to my buddies 3-4. but I guess after years and years of watching fishing shows, along with reading bassmaster, something musta sank in. Plus once I started fishing tournamnets and got lucky, people started asking my opinion on stuff.. I got lucky with a couple of 2nds and thirds, almost always a cold front day and I had couple fish and others had less. For about 5 years I had all the confidence in the world and kept building my strengths, then it all came to a halt in 97 and I sat idle for several years. by then all my more knowlegable co angers had moved on , or quit, and I was back to fishing with less experienced angers that were just getting "honed"..I think that is when I realized I could show what I knew to others and watch them replicate it..its a nice feeling. I'll take DennyK for an example, he was eager to learn and a fast learner, all I've had to do is expose him to dif. conditions and relate what usually works, and then let him go to town. Its kinda nice to teach others, and yet still hooking one bigger than the others that day still is a kick! |

There should be alot more people like you out there JB. The desire and determination to help others is something we are losing in todays society. People today seem cold and callous . P N J
