Talking trying to beat the bait monkey

don't know if this will work but it was cheper than 20$ will find out tomarow (redneck troller got a grill gard)

cool, but i have a question. looking at your transducer i am wondering if it is backward? if not, then MINE is backward.

i for see problems with this all ready.. #1 looks heavy.. #2 transducer should be pointed in direction of flow. -it is bassackwards- the flat end will catch on EVERY thing if you hit weeds at all they will ball up between the guard and the transducer..

a transducer depending on who makes it is aluminum my eagle had this flimsy plastic coating with the mounting hole made of solid plastic. it broke about a month ago..i moved down a 1/2" on the arms and drilled a hole straight thru solid aluminum..

well the gard failed back to the drawing board or i just need to quit hitten stuf by the way the transducer is all plastic so no good place to drill thinking of puten it on a stick and just put it in the water when i need it

i rarely have to quote on of my OWN post so let me draw ya a picture..

1/4" below the transducer mounting BOLT hole between top of the puck "the arms" turn into solid aluminum. that is encased in about 1/16 of an inch of plastic..when it breaks off-and it will-you take a drill with a 1/4" bit and re drill the arms 1/2 way between the currant mounting hole and the puck.you WILL be drilling thru aluminum it will NOT effect the transducer in any way..
