Default My new boat

Well Britney and I drove all the way to Puducah Kentucky yesterday to pick up our new boat. It was a long drive there and back (12 and a half hours total drive time) but we finally got home around 2:30 or 3:00 this morning just in time to beat the snow and ice storm that is hitting us now. It was a neat feeling driving back to where so many of us met last year at the get together last year. It was really hard for Britney and I to look at our Ranger sitting on the lot as we pulled off with our new boat, but we are jacked up about our new boat. It is a 2005 21X with a 225 Evinrude E-tec HO. here is a few pictures that we took lastnight when we stopped to fill the truck up with gas but on top of being dark the pictures were taken with Britneys cell phone. Once we weather improves I will get some better pictures and post them.

P.S. Kevin thank you very much for all of your help with answering all of my questions about Triton boats. If it weren't for your seal of apporval on your Triton I probably would have eleminated Triton from my list of boats because of lack of experience with them. I really appreciate you taking so much time and giving me so much detailed information about your experiences with Tritons.

Dual consoles......

Thanks guys, this boat is beautiful in the daylight and it matches my truck perfect. And yes the dual consoles was Britneys idea, well more like requirement lol.

I am SO happy someone else gets to be ridiculed for spending all of their money on the Monkey! It's your turn, Kory.

Seriously, a beauty of a boat. Those dual consoles are going to come in handy.

Great looking Triton Kory. Two guys in my club have 21x's - one is an '06 with a 225 opti and fast as he77! The other is the Bassmaster edition with the 250 Verado. Either way, the storage and ride of the boats are great. Congrats!

Fantastic rig kory. Maybe you'll get to take her out after the thaw, lol. Kidding of course.
Did oyu trade the ranger in on this one?

Thanks a lot guys. Yeah bama we traded off the Ranger, it was tough seeing her sit at the dealership when we pulled off the lot. I became really attached to that boat and I hated to see her go, but looking at this baby in my rear view mirror seemed to ease my pain lol.

Thanks a lot Danny. I planned on sending you an email and letting you know we were on our way but when Tammy called at 11:30 and said the deal was on I still had to hook up my boat, fill the truck up with gas, and throw some bottled water and Red Bulls in the truck for the long trip so we were running around all crazy like and honestly it slipped our mind. Then we called the Vet Clinic in a valliant attempt to get ahold of you but being the lucky dog you are, you were out on the lake. Then I was so wound up over the new Triton that I went off and left my phone in the truck and missed your call lol. The rain started here when we got within 1 mile of our house so we cut it very close. It was a long trip back but really Britney and I enjoyed it. With having a 5 month old she and I don't get to spend much time just her and I talking much anymore and so the 12-13 hours in the truck let us get caught up.

Kory, I guess I will forgive you this time! Maybe you and Brittany can come back this way in a few months and we will get in some ledge fishing.

Sweet ride Kory. I understand Britney wanting the other console, I wish Adam's boat had one.

Thanks again guys. Yeah bcklash I understand the whole wanting a dual console thing, and honestly they do look better. But if I told her I agreed with her then what fun would that be lol.

That is one sweet looking ride Kory. Maybe I will get a chance to dirty the deck later in the year.

Yep. Always make her think you gave in to her demands. Scores you free points!

Hey Kory, if I bring Britney some cheesecake will take me fishing on her new ride. I'll leave my dog kennel shoes at home.
