Default first boat

buying my first boat this week

i mentioned on the site that i was building a deck and adding a few things on to my dads boat. well we had a few disagreements about what was and wasnt going on the boat after i had already bought the stuff.
so i offered to just buy it from him joking around, and he said to make him an offer. so after a few days of working out a deal, he said he would sell it to me for 1,100$(half of what its worth) IF i let him use it during gator season if he draws a tag.
so i am taking out a loan this week and buying it from him.

it is a duracraft, not sure what model...i will look tomorrow and see what model it is.
it has a pretty new 25hp merc. on it.

took it out saturday and sunday this weekend and rode around and did some fishing out of it.

will post pics tomorrow

IFirst boat is great. When single I was always out.

Tree fell on my boat. With Ins. $, and a new job, we replaced it with a cabin cruiser 26 ft. It has about a 3 1/2 ft draft to the props. I am going fishing with it.

My question is, in TN., in late May- early June, what depth do I need to fish at (bass)? While cruising yesterday, I saw three fishing boats pretty close to each other in about 12-20 foot of water off Paten Island, by Harrison Bay. While driving at about 5 mph, I kept my eye on the fish finder as much as possible, but I was mostly in the deeper channel.
Sorry-if this is in the wrong place, just move it.

Nice! Only thing I can recommend is to put outdoor carpeting on it, it'll make is that when you walk, or drop something, the sound dose not go from the boat to the water as easy, it's pretty cheep too!
