Default 1997 Nitro 700 LX

Hey all,

Well, I'm finally getting my first bass boat...which happens to be my first boat.
It's a 1997 Nitro 700 LX with 120 HP (Tracker/Force/Mercury...I'm having a hard time finding info on this motor. Seems it's made by Force but after Mercury bought them?)
Boat is pretty much loaded with two fish finders, Minn Kota 70lb.
The guy I'm buying it from also is throwing in all his gear and boat equipment.

The photo is pretty bad, but it works. It's in great shape, no scratches dings...shines real nice. I gave $6,000 for it. Seems to be a going price for them.

Just wondering if any of you have any experience with this year and model or give some insight on the motor?

Thanks

Thanks guys, I haven't got it yet

The guy is letting me make a couple payments to him, really nice of him to do it.
He already had it winterized, so I can't see the motor run due to that. I'll be taking it to a local shop and have them give it a once over just to ease my mind. I'll post some better photos when I bring it home!!

Congrats man!! Looks like a beautiful boat!! I hopefully will be in your shoes in a couple months as well. I am also looking to get my first boat and at the same time first bass boat as well. 6K sounds about exactly what I'm hoping to spend as well. Good luck with the boat!!!
