Line Facts
i made test on line..i use trilene..i bought spools in 2000/2001..i keep them in basement, nice and cool ..i sprayed spools each year with SILICONE spray..
i was out yesterday, filled my spool with 6 pd trilene xt..i caught 11 bass and got hung up 1 time and could not break line off bottom ,so i pulled tree limb up and took my jig off.. what i am saying, there is test folks..you dont have to run out and buy new line..that line was 7 years old, yes, 7.. secret is to store it where there is no light and cool, not in heat and spray it each year with silicone spray.. |

Very good advice, Commanche. I keep mine on the top shelf of the pantry. Helps keep it fresh.
