Howdy from Houston
Hello fellow bassers,
In the past, I used to visit this site on a regular basis, but I've been away from the site for a while and it seems I even had to sign up under a new screen name because I forgot my password for this site. My old name here was betursweetbass, and I've popped back in for just a short shout to all the regs I used to chat with on a regular basis. Hello again you all..... I confess, I'm also here to offer some of my "dont wants no more" to you all. I'm looking to sell some of my rods that have been sitting in the closet for a while now. I invite all of you who are interested to make any offer you feel is fair. I'll be posting that ad in the classified section later tonight when I can provide model numbers for you all. I have an Airrus, Loomis, St.Croix, and others, all or mostly, baitcasters. I hope I can interest some of you folks here on this site, because I know your all into bassfishing and can appreciate how nice these rods are. Bet |

Hey Buzz,
We where at Huntsville state park last saturday, we caught around 12, with Loretta (texas bassin lady) catching a 6 pounder. We're taking our new carrot stiks out today to a local pond for the first time to check them out. Bet |

Nice! Is the old lady kickin' the bass still!?!?
Let me know how you like the Carrots. I'm on the edge as to assuming they are good or not. -Buzz |

The Carrot Stik was a pleasant surprise, it was very light and sensitive as the reviews mention. We bagged 10 nice little bass in about 2 hours last night after work. We where using tiki sticks on our carrot stiks, how bout that for satire.
I would say they are worth the money, but, they're not better rods than the Airrus, Close but not better, maybe depending on who you asked? I may have more on them later, we did not do much wormin, just jerkin soft baits. Bet |

Hi, Bet! I'm a relative new comer to this site. I've been on the Texas Fishing Forum for years, and got on here after we moved to Georgia last year. I was born and raised in your neck of the woods and still have lots of folks in Harris and Montgomery counties. Huntsville State Park is where I proposed to my wife 27 years ago. Welcome back!

i'll say hi to all myself ......
we had such a great time with the new carott stiks....it is truly a very sweet rod indeed.....the only drawback i see is that the rod says on it that it's 6'6...but indeed it's about 6'3.....but as far as catching the fish well.....i would have to say it does indeed....and it's sooooooo easy to cast with.....i even had 20lb test on mine...and it chunked it nearly across the pond.....hehehehehe....

Welcome back, and stay around for awhile. Don't need anymore stuff, I can't fit it all in the storage unit now.

Not to rain on your parade, but Medina isn't all that great-very little cover and wall-to-wall lake lice, wake boats, and skiers. Choke Canyon, now....
