Lake LBJ Guide Report
LAKE LBJ: Water stained; 87 degrees, 824. 90':
Largemouth are fair at night and first light on 5'-10' breaklines using green Photon (www.photonlures.com) crankbaits, black single spin Terminator spinner- baits (www.terminatorlures.com) and 3" plastic swim baits. Later in the day, soft plastics like "Christmas Tree" Wacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) wacky rigged on a "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com), tubes, and 4" or 5" watermelon/red finesse worms produce in 8'-15' under boat docks using a "deadstick" technique. The slower the better. Stripers are fair at night to 21" in 8'-15' on Terminator In-Line spinners, and 2" Moss Green Lit'l Fishie Shads (www.cremelure.com). White Bass are very good at night using 1-1/2" Lit'l Fishies and 1/32 oz. Road Runners with spinners and white plastic bodies.
