Default Lake Anna

Saturday a buddy and I hit the warm side of Lake Anna. Water temp. 74 degrees,Air temp 40 degrees. Boated 15, mostly small, but one hit 3 pounds. They hit Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, Flukes and toward midday started hitting Cranks. All around a great day.
Until next time,

Jerry

Jerry, I glad to hear some of us are still catching em.
Is there a warm water discharge on that side of the lake? Sounds like it.

Yea woody, the nuclear plant separates the warm and cold side. they pump water from the 9600 acre cold side thru the reactors into the 3400 acre warm side. great fishing year around.

Here in Indy there is a coal fired power plant that discharges into the river, and I've heard of guys catching em' there. I guess when I can't stand it any more, I'll go and check it out. Anyways, Glad to hear ya caught a few.

The best part about fishing that lake on the warm side. it is all private property so you have to own a house on the lake to fish it, or in my case be good friends with someone who does.

3dkicker mostly thru the canal away from the plant picked 95% of them up off boat houses and covered docks.
