the pressure and vac. test was 20 bucks.. well worth it, i got my drive shaft seal, impellar, oil, and plug seals for like 50 bucks.. not bad.

tomorrow i'm taking it to school and get the coach to install it. i'm getting to school early, and then getting anthonys yoda to drive back to the house and get the stuff.. i live like 6 minutes from school, so its not that bad.

after school i'm gunna try and get that beast on and go run it in the barrel some.

then i've got someone coming to look at a VW i've got up for sale.. so hopefully i'll make some $$ tomorrow too.

i get 15% of the total... and if i get the bug and bus sold i get 210 bucks..not bad for just advertising and doing buisness..

One of the greatest things about this thread is to see a younger guy with the work ethic and stick-to-it-ness to see a project like this through. Looking good Photog!

This has been one of the best boat reads I've read in a long time. Keep up the good work!

I have a couple concerns: if you're not using a marine grade or treated plywood - you may have a serious rot problem in only a couple years. If you apply carpet directly to the wood floor it will hold moisture. Unless you have plans to somehow seal all the untreated wood against any moisture intrusion, you may have problems in a very short time. I've seen boats with marine grade plywood floors begin rotting out in 7 years or less. The other thing is, how much weight ARE you adding to the hull?
