Just got back from my Ganders. Nothing exciting on sale. They do have some left over STX for $129.00. They did get the Vendettas in. Only one left though. No one is buying any of the MOJO's. Did see that they have a new line of their own brand rods with split handles for $149.00. Wonder who is making them for Gander?

Gander Mt has some seriously good buys in the bargain bins late in the summer. I bought a ton of Powerbait and Gulp! plastics last year at $1-1.50 a pop.

I vaguely recall hearing years ago that Fenwick makes the Gander MT rods. FWW...

Looking in a gander mag and they have pfueger president rods for 25! Gonna try to get onea them!!

Our Gander doesn't seem to be dealing. just got back from there. The Zillion is on sale for $249.99.

A whole $20 off retail. The 2009 Revo premier is still retail from last year.

I asked if they'd match the price at another gander store and I was told it is the same price as ours...

I can email you a pic of the receipt if you like, Zillion for $187.48 before tax, it does say "Store Specials New Price Marked Down To 187.48" though. If I get back over that way I can check if there are any more. Gander, like everything else here, is an hour drive.

I just checked out the flier for the Traverse City Gander. Some good deals. They'll be gone by the time I get back there though.

Went to Gander Mountain today here in Wichita, they have a lot of nice stuff on sale, I picked up a Revo Premier for $129.00, all the Rapala baits are 20% off. I checked out the 25.00 pflueger rod and was pleasantly suprised, gonna pick a couple of those up as well.

I went there again yesterday and I beat the monkey! Stradic MgFI reels were marked down to $125 from $225 and I didn't buy any. I was close until I decided to wait for the Ci4. I did get some tubes for $1.95 a bag and a few other things. I have an idea for a somewhat new twist on an existing tactic, we'll see.

I was able to hold off the monkey at Gander yesterday as well. If they'd added some more colors on the Fat Crank 20, it would have been a different story. Not very often that I can refrain from pullin out the wallet in there

Way to go mallen. I don't think i could drive that far and not spend any money. When we used to have to drive up to the BPS in Detroit, it was always at least a hundred bucks. Although we only went two or three times a year.
