Spring is coming!
I took some pics this morning of something I thought might give those of you who still suffer from cabin fever a bit of hope.

It's not coming soon enough! I decided to go find one of the boat launches on Manistee Lake today, just to kill some time.

Thats what I have been doing with my non-fishing time... looking at Google maps, learning some new lakes I haven't been to, picking up lures and so on...

Definitely a good time killer this time of year. And when it's in the high 30s with the sun shinin, good day for a drive. Worked out great too. I never knew that launch was there. Of the 3 launches, that's the closest one for me

I hate to rub it in but I fished all day today. Temps in the high 60's, it was a beautiful day. Before you get too mad at me just remember that it will be 105° here everyday before too long. It kind of balances out. You guys will be on the lake in July and it will be too hot to step outside here.

105 sounds good to me. I worked on upgrading drags and cleaning reels in the garage tonight and had it up to 90 in there, but it doesn't stay that warm for too long after the torpedo heater is off. Do you guys fish all day in the summer heat or just mornings/evenings?

Well it's 66° today. Am I fishing? No. I'm fixing the kitchen sink. 15 min. job done turned into an all afternoon event. That's what I get for gloating about the warm weather.
Is there such a thing as a plumbing monkey? It sure nailed me today. $30 for 6" of plastic pipe, some nuts, washers, and a drain. And I went the cheap route! (end whining) (end rant)
