Is It Too Soon (Again)?
Haha...I just noticed that it was the first of September last year when we started talking about where the 2011 Event was going to take place. The fishing at Wheeler/Wilson was tough, but I think John/Lisa did a great job of hosting, and we all had a good time.
But the question is...does anyone want to start talking about 2012? Suggestions for Dates and Locations?

Hmmm.. maybe a little further N of/in the Mason Dixon? lol I'd love to attend one of these, but if it's South of it, I don't see it to possible.
Maybe in Missouri?

You do realize that North of the Mason-Dixon line would put you in Pennsylvania or above.

Sammy....it's a common misconception that the Mason Dixon Line separates the North from the South....

Like NFE said, it is a common misconception that this line separates the North and South.

North of the Mason-Dixon line would be fine with me! Somewhere in Kentucky wouldn't be bad, maybe even KY Lake again. If we're going deep south again, Alabama is preferred as our relatives are there. I'd always be up for another trip to G-ville and Goose Pond was a great place to stay. But I can understand if John and Lisa don't want to be in charge of another one.

Well, everyone knows where I want to go. The Holler...that place is in my bones now.
Besides, you guys with Verizon phones could make a fortune selling phone calls to all of us AT&T and Sprint guys...

Patoka is a nice lake, but as Embrey can also attest, it can be one cruel s.o.b. too.
There isn't a ton of choice on lodging, but I could look into it. There are a couple of marinas and lodges, and a fisherman's camp ground. I'd be lying if I told you I know where they're biting, but who knows....maybe?

I think you're right. I think if you were to put a pin in the map right in the middle of where most bfin.com active members live, it would be somewhere around Kentucky Lake.

Juust bringing the option.... if the economy were better I would push it more but its easy cause they would help us with a weigh in and there's plenty of space. What s the adverage fish over in Kentucky lake? (Don't mean to get off topic here)

The only areas I know well is the south side from Fleming creek to Lick Fork. The rest, I'm clueless.

Ky lake would be a good option. But I wouldn't limit yourself to staying close to the dam. Around Paris would be a good place, smack in the middle of everything on Ky lake. Depending on the number of people and time of year the Fish Tale lodge wouldn't be a bad place. 2 miles from paris ramp, and pretty nice rooms.

Also if we could try to make it at a lake with both smallies and largemouth, I think that would be great... maybe john could finally get himself a small jaws.
Along with who ever else ain't had to opportunity of catching these awesome fish! Brookville would probably work well for us.
