Replica mount pictures
Well, I picked up my first-ever bass mount today. It is a replica mount of the first 20" bass I ever caught, and although I have caught a couple over 6 pounds in Iowa, this is the only 5 pound bass I have caught on the lake where we have our cabin. And since that's where it will be displayed, I decided to have this one made even though it's not my PB. Sorry the picture quality is so bad on the straight-on shots, but I'm not good enough with a camera to know how to eliminate the "flash junk" that happens because of the plexiglass case.

Thanks, Joe. I think it looks awesome also. I told the guy who made it for me that I'd be back once I get my first 20" Smallie. I've had several in the 18"-18.75" range, but haven't quite scared 20" yet. Maybe this fall...

Very nice mount, Dean. Replica mounts will last a lifetime and more, unlike a skin mount. I have a replica mount of a white marlin on my family room wall that looks as good today as the day it first was hung - 25 years ago!

Wow Dean. That really looks great. I like the whole scene setup. And inside the case will keep it nice. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Beautiful fish! I can't believe there are still people out there that think a skin mount looks better than a replica. Not only does it look great but now you still have a chance to catch her again when she's bigger. It's a win-win!

Wow!
Resorts new member I got a feeling is getting the best seat in the house while he waits for his smallmouth partner to join him. Man to see the faces of your guests when they see and hear how the fish was caught...right there. I bet when you look at it, it takes you back to that initial hit, that exact moment you realized the size, the battle, the history that was being made...probably even what you had for dinner that day. That is what I call ART !
