Academy Sports
I made a trip to Tulsa, OK this weekend and visited the nearby Academy Sports. I know I have made posts before about the quality of their H2O series baits, but they never seem to stop coming out with stuff that looks better and better.
Here are a few shots of some baits I picked up this weekend, if you have not had the chance to check these baits out, I don't think you will be disappointed. Great baits for under $5 each.

I agree that their H2O baits are awesome. That Sammy type bait is a great bait, I don't have that same color but I have caught a ton of fish on them. Too bad our Academy got blown away in our May 22nd tornado. It's supposed to be opening back up soon though.

Under $5? That is definitely a great deal. Too bad there aren't any academy's in my neck of the woods.

H20's are awesome baits, I have a ton of them. They cannot be beaten for the price. Those new photo finish lipless baits are sweet too. They are a different shape than the normal lipless baits and come with Owner hooks.

Those look great!
I was fishing with one of the square bills Joe got for me the other day. It had good action, hooks, and paint job. BB

Ive havent seen the newer lipless yet!..They look rad! ...Im also a huge H2O fan...I noticed on the hard bodied swimbaits (bluegill 6'') They would sit nose down on the bottom and I could hop them without snagging..Not sure if thats in design or just how mine swims but I like it!

I'm telling you, you guys with BPS and Academy and such sports stores are just lucky. In the land where steelhead and salmon are king, bass stuff takes a backseat. I did like Academy back home... It is the name of the all girls Catholic High School.
