Those look great! Good thing I'm not a fan of craw pattern cranks, or I'd have to get a few, lol.

How long does it take someone to paint like that... ? does it really perfect fish intisement? Or is it something that we the fishermen go ohhh pretty and put them in our tackle box?

Gotta take awhile. Enticement? In highly pressured water and/or clear water I think most people would agree that natural is good. Of course there are some very good fisherman that believe that all that is necessary is some contrast and that the general shading should be close to the predominant food source.

I don't know what brand he used to paint these. I'm sure if you wanted an x-dad done he'd paint one for you.

Don't know. He does a little at a time when he gets a chance. Kind of a step by step process.

I typically use a Yozuri Hardcore Drum custom shiner pattern that he did for me when I fish and I've caught plenty of fish (many species) on it. Is it the realistic pattern? I think so because I don't catch as many fish on others that aren't custom painted. Does it make a difference if the bait is realistic???? Only way to know is to test it out on your favorite body of water.
