As I said, it's not that I get cold, but the winds is so dern strong, it's hard to keep on spot, even with a 45-pound motor. Bender and I went out yesterday to no avail, and it was hard to keep on spot in the 10-15 mile per hour winds!

You gotta use two anchors one at the bow and one at the stern. That may be the only way to do it you may just have to drop and hoist every time you get to a new spot. It's so cold right now anyways so you're working a spot for a while.

I'm thinking I need me some marker buoys. If I had these I could find structure with my console depth finder and use tohse when I'm on the bow.

Can't hold in 10-15 MPH winds? You should have taken our advice and not got that fancy wireless job you can't mount a transducer on. Guess mommy and/or daddy will have to buy you a new one so you can hold position. Be sure to come brag about it, too, along with the other fancy gear they bought you.

Ok... The only reason we got the wireless is because it was one of the only choices we had that would be compatible with our boat. The gator-mount styles have too long of a base plate and we would've had to take away some deck space to get it to work. I guess you could say we worked with what we had.

Also, the depth finder was an aftermarket add-on. I didn't want one originally, but then I decided I did, too bad for me.

I've had enough of this damn 'Quit bragging', crap. It sounds to me as if you're jelaous. If thats the case, fine, go talk to your buddies about it then. I originally joined here to talk bass and bass only, not argue with people worried about what I have or don't have.

Jealous? More like tired of hearing about it. Read the PM. How you respond will determine how I react.
