Default New Rod Build Builders

I am on the search for a couple custom rods, and I was hoping you builder out there would give me your contact info so I could have a couple of you to talk to about these sticks.

Any feedback/info is appreciated.

Thanks--Don

Talk to Steve at:

He's popular on a fly tying site I spend time in. I've got one of his rods and it's nothing short of amazing. Some of the stuff he does is very cool. He does fly rods and conventional rods and his prices are very reasonable.

Wafflejaw on this site is outstanding. He understands bass fishing and fishing rods inside out.

Second recommendation for Walker Nelson aka wafflejaw. He built a rod for me and it turned out perfect. He is very good on working with his customers giving them what they want. Very good at communication during the build. Mine was built on a North Forks Composie blank (Gary Loomis), titanium micro guides, special wraps, high quality product. It was not cheap, but I have had many compliments from those that have seen it.

Forgot about Bubba Bruiser (Gary?) who also builds rods. I have seen pictures but no hands on experience with his work. The ones I have seen look nice and I'm sure guys that post here have one and may have some input.
