Default 8lb. club

Today, roughly 2and a half hours ago I entered the 8lb club with an 8.3lber! ;D I have pics but they're on 35mm. so I'll post them when i get them developed.
I went fishing after I got off work today(sucks to work Saturdays...) i started out throwing a Lunker Lure in white 3/8oz. and one lunged on it but diddn't really take it well so I cast a few more times and got blown up on again, this time, same thing... no hookup. It was a brand new buzzer and I didn't bring the trailers with me so I am guessing thats why no hookups. Well after that happened , i picked up my new light action Kistler (that was just delivered yesterday) i had rigged with a 4" senko and cast just past where the last one blew up on the lunker lure and .....tap! One single tap, and i reel set her due to light line(6lb. test) and light action rod and she took off, drag screaming! I fought her for about a minute , maybe a little more or less and lipped her. I RAN to the truck about 150 yards away and filled my cooler with water and put her in it to get my scale and camera out of the cab(gasping, I might add ). I put her on the scale and it registerd 8.3 lb. on a berkley digital. I immediately drove it up to the farmhouse of the lady who let me fish there and she photoed me with the fish. She said its the biggest she has known to come out of there ever and she has lived there 15+ yrs.! Then i drove the fish back to the pond and released it. Fished 2 more hours and never got another strike. Oh well.... ;D 8)

One good fish will make up for a day of not catching any.
