Talking deep crankin boxes exposed.

while i was out and about this afternoon i got a bunch of my cranks out and started sorting thru them.. i don't pack a pile of the same baits only a few here and there. i leave the boxes of same baits in a stack in the house..

here are new additions to the deep crank box..

top to bottom left to right..
dt-16,bomber fat free shad,norman deep lil n-unleaded-,dt-10,lc d-20,lc d-14 lc d-12,a bush baby,bandit 600-70's verison-,bandit 700, norman dd-22,and a #12 shad rap..

how i got them all jamded in that box i don't know. got some 4300 poes i got to add -i may need a bigger box..

and as a special treat because jools has asked -REPEATEDLY- to glimps the depth of my crankbait collection..get your bibs out you crankers..

bottom left two cranks are clark gables btw-and nearly impossable to find in a modern crank..

did i ever mention i like bush babys??

some lorhs lures.

top one is a "tapp" bait the rest are knock offs..

where do you think rapala got the idea for a dt7?? gee i wonder..these are lorhs btw..

and these are just PART of what i have stashed..

Very nice selection of lures. I'm envious. Most of mine look like that last one - replace the hook and they still do their job well.

Saw several Tennesee Killers. Are those Normans, Rapalas or originals form East Tennessee? Those coffin billed flat sides are working real good over here in East Tennessee right now. Fish2win

Top picture, left row, second bait down. That Bomber is a killer muddy-water bait!

Those color sceams look a lot like Howard Norris homeades or Perry Shockley original homeades before he sold out. Prize those Zook they are better than the commercially made copys.I know a couple of guys over here that still make them. Some of those square bills in the 2nd pic look like computor board bills which are highly treasured. That lace painted brown back green side white belly coffin bill is a smallmouth killer in stained water. Nice collection of homeades. Fish2win

wishin
my self, bassnman30,and toneyoutdoors. all live within 30 miles of high rock lake. it has the reputation as "the crankbait lake" in the us..and yes i have caught alot of bass on crankbaits on high rock.. to be called one of the "best" crankbait builders in this area. you got to be better than just good.

jerry lorh's baits are about as good a bait as you will ever get. the lil cassie has caught alot of fish for me on the yadkin chain over the years..

i am sure g-ride and bassnman will chime in on this also..

Zook, if you had to choose one crankbait to fish with, what brand, color, size, etc would it be? think carefully, you've got lots to choose from.
