Might want to be careful though using it with coated lenses.

I'm about to send off the Revo/ Wiley X deal next week. Going to give them to a cousin because he wants some.

I was thinking of taking advantage of that deal but didn't like the fact that you can't pick the lens color.

Totally agree! One other thing I don't like about that promotion is the selling price, not reel value, has to be at the specified minimum.
I found Revo SXs for $142 but they didn't qualify.

That's just a marketing ploy trying to get people to buy their new Revo's. Not saying it's right but if it sells your company more reels...

Costa Del MAr in any model or any tint. They all look about the same, but they have different levels of polarization on them. Go for the 580.

Solar bats w/moss back lenses. I used to feel the same way about the $12 glasses since I went through probably 2-3 pair a year. Why get a nice pair, right? But I started reading how bad those cheap glasses can be for your eyes and that if I'm going to be on the water for extended periods of time I should maybe start caring a little. I've had my solar bats for two years now and I'm a firm believer that they improved water visibility along with being easier on the eyes. Subconsciously now maybe I refrain from sitting on them or dropping them in the lake.

I got my bats on ebay at a great price, comparing with my buddies oakley's and wiley x's it was clear to me which glasses I preferred. Just my opinion if that helps. I would recommend the mossback green lens.

Solar Bats are great shades I wore a pair of older ones before I got my Oakleys and they worked great. Got the Oakleys just to check them out, and they're great shades too. Thats a good price on the Pacifics they retailed last year for 70$ I think. Plus they have the Noctular lenses.

Check out these shades they might be right for you:

I guess I'm a bit late here, but for those of you using the Wiley X perscription glasses, how much did those cost?

If any of you guys has a head as big as mine (literally...figuratively, no one does ) you probably have trouble finding glasses that don't make you look totally ridiculous.

I buy my sunglasses from a company called "Fatheadz." I like the WarpXL and DusterXL models. They are very comfortable, and extra wide for us super-human mutants with beach-ball sized noggins. They are 100% UV filtered, and are polarized too, so they help with sight fishing.

WalMart started distributing them a while back (I used to have to order them online without trying them on ), so their prices have dropped considerably...about $50 a pair. They are very well-built and scratch resistant too.

What to get all depends on how much you want to spend.

I've been wearing Costas, but they hurt my temples (wide head!). I tried on some Wiley X, this model to be exact, and I really like them. In fact I will be going back over to my Vision Care Center today to pick them up.
