Wow it is awesome to have you here, in fact I am honored to be the first to welcome you. We all miss your brother very much, I had the pleasure to meet him at the Kentucky Lake gathering last year and it was a great time, my wife and I really enjoyed the time we got to spend with the big fella. I spent several hours on the phone with him, most of which I was just trying to get a word in edge wise lol, that guy sure could talk but he always had a way of making days a little better just by visiting with him on the phone. Again, welcome to the site and we are glad you are here.

Hello little z. So very glad to see you here in this site. Your brother is missed by so many here, including myself. I'm lucky to have been able to have had some great conversations on the phone with him. He always made me laugh! I really wish I didn't live so far away as I would have loved to be at the Labor Day get together! From what John told me, you all had a good time together. I would have loved to meet your family in person. Maybe some day. Anyways, I have to get off to work, but welcome aboard. Glad to have you here.

Hello Little z and welcome! I'll confess I didn't get the chance to know yer big brother Zooker all that well as we only 'spoke' a few times in here ... but what I did know, I really liked. He was a good man that deserved a lot more fishin time in this world.

A bandit 100 crankbait in Tennessee Shad is a good bet, it was one of your brothers favorite baits. Seriously I don't have much knowledge about your local waters but your brother made a lot of post on here where he talked about baits and posted a lot of pics of baits too. You can dig around through these post and get a lot of help.

Welcome. I used that Bandit recommended to you , and it does catch fish. I lost that my last time out , but I already have a replacement. Caught a 3# on it last time out.

Welcome little z. I visited with Zooker a couple years ago, we(the family and I) took him out to dinner at some seafood place near his home. I was supposed to fish with him this August past but.... I've been praying a lot for your family. I'm also sorry I couldn't get down there for Labor day but you all were in my thoughts and prayers. I will surely miss his long winded calls as much as anyone here. Again, welcome to the board, it's good to see you here.

To be honest I haven't fished the lakes too much. I sort of stick to the farm ponds around Fayetteville.

Welcome to the site. You're gonna find a lot of good people on here. Some not so good, but we don't really talk about them...
As far as fishing spots, Zooker was really good about sharing them with us. He also liked to take pictures of the areas he caught fish in, so we could be sure to find them later.

For example, these photos were taken on one of his kayaking trips. As you can see, he managed to get some very distinctive landmarks in each frame to make his location easily identifiable.

This one was from back in April this year...again, notice the easily recognizable background...

And lastly, this one from July last year:

Zooker definitely wanted to share his good spots with everybody. Good luck, and let us know when you find these spots and catch some good fish out of them.
