Kentucky and Barkley Lake is scary right now. The two dams, combined, are dumping over 500,000 cubic feet per second of water. It is unreal. There are people just down stream from barkley dam that lost their homes to the water today. My prayers are with them. The worst thing is that they are dumping that much water and the lakes are still rising. For those of you who were at the Kentucky Lake Forum Event last year, if you remember the boat ramp you used and how long that ramp is, the water is at the top of that ramp. There is a lot of water and it has to go down stream into the ohio river and then into the Mississippi River. Look out down stream!!! Here it comes the water!

Those pics were taken at 364.23,paris landing ramp had already closed, now last report had lake level at 366.25.Murry state water station no longer reporting due to high water and them turning eq off to prevent damage.
Currently 330,644 cfs going thru,(ky only)this is water from memphis and over on barkley from
nashville.Est ten in of rain fell(20 in nashville),higher in some locations.
They are permitted to flood private land to 367 in the summer and 375 in the winter.Gates are open till further notice, living just downstream fom barkley is also getting effected by backup from the ohio.
It aint over yet and all this has to go to new orleans.
Where did you get that firetiger toy at ,come here ill borrow it and put treble hooks on the rear, dang stripers and gar and drum grow large enough too swallow it.And yes they still love garlic green pumkin bushhogs, had a drum so large it took up the front deck on the jag, wasnt till I put it back ,realized state record was 52 pds.Who thinks of a drum record lol.
Ps getting so I fish topwater baits like a gsplash with hefty braid.

ONe of my closest friends lives south of Nashville in Smyrna. He has been sending me News channel 5 links since saturday. I used to live in Mt. Juliet and I have been told that there is flooding in places over there that has never ever been flooded before.
