Default Crank Bait Tackle Tamers

Have you ever gotten your crank baits it a tangeled mess in tray that you kept them? The best solution that I am aware of is small elastic bands on the hooks. It works on all crank baits an you can store more baits in the same amount of space. Just remember to to take the elastics off the cranks befor you fish them. EH

Can you share a pic of what your talking about?.....I have a small box, so I tend to have too many cranks in the same tray and tangled hooks is always a problem.

Falcon FTO... well, I guess they're Plano FTO boxes now. They're a bit pricier than standard plano boxes, and they don't hold quite as much, but you NEVER get tangled hooks.

Do you mean to use small rubber bands to pull the trebles on a crankbait together?

I'll try and get a pic on here later today. Yes a small rubber band to pull the trebles on a crankbait together. You put the elastic on the bend in one treble and wind it around the next treble hook on the bait and back. Works well on 2 and 3 treble hook baits.

You're trying to link them directly from your computer. They have to be either hosted on a website like photobucket, or attached to the message. To attach it, hit the "Advanced" reply button, and click the little paper clip above the message box, just to the right of the smiley face. Locate the picture by clicking "Browse," then hit "Upload."

I think that you are talking about doing what ima Lures does on their baits in the box, like this:

Thumbs up Elastics Magic

Thanks for that pic I have never seen IMA baits here in Canada but the technique works.

You can have baits willy nilly and pick them out of a box with little effort and no hook tangles. For some reason I can't post some pics here I'll try to find out why Wensday as I'mto tierd to think straight.
