Another Hawg
Took my son Cole to Lake Orange in VA. He just purchased a new Revo Reel & Crankin stick with a bunch of KVD 1.5's dang if he didn't break it in & with style...
Bass weighed 6#4oz & was 21.5 inches long I managed to catch a nice one as well... can't let his britches get too big.. although his fish was larger...caught mine on a Red Eyed Shad. We found the bass on main lake points water temp. 68* air temp 50*.

It is thrilling... it's just ironic as one of my best friends "a father like figure to me" once gave me a hat that is embroidered "NET BOY" with a Bass Going into a net.

Very nice fish.....that lake is a challenge to catch fish too. Fished it last spring and had a very tough day. Caught some dinks and had one keeper on but shook me coming to the boat. Wish they had a little more cover or laydowns on that lake. My sidescan didn't show much cover at all.....

Smitty, points & the limited standing timber & bait balls are the key that I've been able to establish.

More cover....rocks and laydowns are needed. Didn't see much cover at all with my sidescan. Could be a fantastic little lake to fish. Give me a day with a chainsaw and I could improve it drastically!!!!
