If you accidently dropped it, that may have contributed to the problem.

I suspect that your reel problems were caused by poor punctuation and sentence construction. You'll be amazed to learn how much better your gear will perform when you observe the basic rules of our language...ENGLISH!
Oh Lord...When will school start again? (Not that it will do much good.) Press "One". FR |

School may be part of the problem. I sometimes wonder if the kid's are actually learning something in school. If they were, I doubt they would submit posts like that.

If you are open for a tip:
Try using a 5.1 or lower gear ration with that DT16 and you will be able to huck it for a longer period of time with a lot less fatigue. I throw mine on a 3.8 gear ratio and it is like butter.

Thats what the plan was to do, but after i got the bait tied on I just realized it was the wrong rod and i was already in the spot i wanted to throw it. I just decieded it was cast in for only a few cast in this spot and I wasn't planning on fishing it all day so I didn't think it would matter much. I guess i thought wrong huh? But the problem is fixed and wont make the same mistake again..........weidner21

I recently have had 2 of the Extremes crap out on me. The new one and last years model also. My 3 year old one is still going strong. I like the Pro Quailifers alot better than the extremes though.
