We went back out later that day to a different nearby lake and ended up with the best day yet this year. Found some downed trees and bounced crankbaits and senkos off them. Ended up with 3 five pounders, 2 fours, and several 2-3 pounders. For quality of fish it will be tough to top those three hours!!! Best case of bass thumb in a long, long time!!

You got that right! I'll be out there at least 15 hours this weekend for sure!

Good luck....I have to work tomorrow but will be out Sunday morning. My son went back out Thursday evening to same area we did so well on....said no one else on the water and bass were hitting very hard. He estimated he got 25-30 in about 3 hours....about half were keepers and got several 3 plus with another 5 pounder. You know where I'll be heading Sunday!!!
