Been bothering me for awhile....weather reports!
Nah I'm not going to complain about accuracy.
It's the fact that very few radio, TV, newspaper reports include Barometric Pressure readings anymore. If they do it's even rarer(gotta be a word) that they tell you if it's going up or down. No trending info at all. Heck WeatherBug on the computer doesn't even show trends. Effects on fishing are argueable but to help forecast how fast a front is coming or going and forecasting somewhat for yourself, its a must. Especially trying to perdict, 'can I get 10 more casts in before the storm hits?' You anglers find the same where you live?

Actually its after when it hits like as in passed that makes fishing tuff for me prior even during its superb. Not going to say I like being out in it ,pouring rain 30 mph winds but fish dont seem to mind. After its passed they have to be force fed and are generally tight to cover.

Quit your dang worrying and complaining, turn on you lap top (computer, not girlfriend) and go to the Den of Iniquity and get yourself one of these. The weather(person)man isn't right but 50% of the time anyway. This will put the information right at your fingertips you just have to figure out what it means.

I agree with radio and newspapers, just don't know offhand about TV. But it's not needed with all the info on the Internet.

There is one channel from Chicago that often gives the reading, but no trend. Sides, rising, falling, it don't matter. Just go fishing. Nothing adds to the excitment quite like lightnig flashing overhead while casting away with rod in hand.

A for the barometric pressure, I'm sure it is easy enough to find online. Anyone know if the Weather Channel app shows pressure and trends? BB

I looked on the Weather Channel app on my Android, and no, it didn't show atmospheric pressure at all, and I didn't see where I could change any settings so that it would.
