What a great week!

It started Sunday with the crowning of the Classic champ, and the running of the Daytona 500. And Friday starts the BPS Spring Fever sale! I'm heading to the BPS in Portage as soon as I get off work and eat a quick dinner. They have a 7:1 Johnny Morris Carbon Black reel with my name all over it, along with some spools of line, and a couple LC rattlin cranks! Who knows what else.

Yeah I will be at the Clarksville, IN store when the doors open Friday Morning. They have a Pro Qualifier in 5.2:1 and a 7'M Crankin Stick with my name on em. I also think the monkey will make me buy line, reel cleaning stuff, a Plano 3031 box, and some crankbaits for the Ky Lake trip.

That Carbon Black will look good on the Veritas, if that's what you're still planning on getting.

I don't think I'm even going to the classic sale this year. I need to save up for the AL trip and the stuff I need before we go!

Good luck getting the monkey back on his leash once you let him loose to get you that reel!

I called the wife to bring me my giffies when she picks me up from the airport Thursday to make a stop by BPS as soon as I get off the plane. She said you sure know how to whooo a woman by wanting to go there after you get home after a month. I told her the kids don't go to bed until 8, so don't worry about the whoooing till then. But its logical man thinking, if I don't go when she picks me up, it will cost me 50 to get back up there in gas because I refuse to pay $15 S&H for 2 reels. So I plan on getting the Okuma Serrano, a Curado E7, and a Monster Enegry drink. If I see a turn for the worse, I will save the Monster for the next day hahahahaha.

I am looking forwared to the BPS Classic this Friday as well. We are going to have Brian Snowden and Dave Mercer giving seminars. I will tell you what though, for the past 2 years we have had a big snowstorm come in on that Friday. Last year it took me two hours to get there driving 30 mph to get there, when it is usually about a 45 minute drive. This year we have the same thing... snowstorm expected to come in during the day on Friday!

Hey Walker , let me know if they have the sales on Shimano Ci4 Spinning reel. I still need to pick one up for my custom rod. Thanks..
