Default Fishing report / Question

Toke the boat out for the first time this year caught 3 little guys biggest being 2lbs. My question is in a river like Dundee creek if you guys are familiar with it or just any river period where the water is shallow all around, where do the bass spawn still on the banks or what ? Thanks

I'd think of it just as you would any other spawning area. If there is rubble, sand, or stones, it should be good. It helps if there is a slight current and some good sun areas also.

Start looking in 2-4' of water. Try wood (stumps, pilings, laydowns, etc) and sand or rocky banks. Sunny banks first and then shaded. If you don't find them then look deeper. Polarized sunglasses will help. Some beds will be large, 2-3' in diameter, and some small 6-8". Put the sun at your back and the less chop the better. You'll probably have some pollen on the water and that makes things harder to see.
