Default I am a sucker when it comes to atractant!!!

I fouund this stuff on the web today. I baught the garlic formula. The price seamed more than fair. Also it states only 2 or 3 drops. The shipping was only 75cents. If it works i can't go wrong. I'll report my findings. http://www.liquid-lure.com/

I've always been a fan of salt and garlic, and think it helps too. The guys here turned me onto carolina lunker sauce and I also have another brand thats similiar..but Pee Uu on the smell...denny bout pukes when he smells the garlic LOL..it works tho, at least a confidence booster, or can help hide human scent to some degree.

I haven't tried many scents. I've tried YUM in garlic and crayfish, and neither have seemed to make a difference. I recieved some scent to sample from NAFC, haven't tried it yet. I'm going to do a little test and report back later.

I tried Yum. Didn't notice any improvement with or without it. Read about a dye/scent called jj's magic. Good reviews on it. Ordered some. It comes in clear, red, blue, chartruse. I'll post on it after I try it. You can blend the colors to make any color you want. It's garlic scented.

If you use powerbait that contains scent your fine. This helps atract fish. You just not aware of it. But soft plastics that don't contain scent absorb human oders. Fish will not bite these lures. Scent is not just an atractant. But it also covers up human scent in non scented plastics.

SMELLY-JELLY BASS FEAST!! This stuff is by-far the strongest smelling stuff I've come across...get yourself a basting needle and syringe setup and really take advantage of those hollow bodies...

I don't mind oil type atractants. They comes of after a dozen cast or so. I can't stand gels. Why they don't come off that easy which is fine if your still fishing. But at the end of the day. When you untine the crankbait. You have to wipe it off real good. Or the dam stuff makes a mess in your tackle box.

Not to shoot down your theory, but if you are fishing your cranks in the right area, you shouldn't have to use scent.

Last year I used Mega Strike on all of my soft plastics (other than Gulp) and I think that it did make a difference. This year Gulp! has a spray out and I picked some up recently to try.
If you really want to get scent to stay in your plastics then put your baits in a plastic bag, such as a big ziplock, spray or drop in some scent in the bag, then let it sit in the sun for a couple of hours. If the sun is not available you can try to warm it a little in the oven, but be careful of the heat. Take them out and you are ready to go.
We have tried mixing in the scents when cooking the plastic and a lot of it burns off, the liquid and even gel comes off in the water, so I am going to be using this method more this year.

The Gamefish version was what was sent to me to test by NAFC, and I tried it with good results. I Put two rods out, both with a wacky rigged June Bug Stik-O (BPS's version of senko). One was sprayed with YUM Garlic scent and the other with the Baitmate. YUM: 0 fish. Baitmate: 4 fish (two landed, one got off at the boat, and the other wrapped around the anchor rope on our raft and broke the line.) I used about half of the pocket pack and will definately buy more of this.
