Default Got a Veritas

Went to Gander Mtn today. Picked up a Veritas VRS66-5 6ft6in Med spinning rod to go with the Revo reel Gander just gave away. They had the rub off coupon thing this weekend. I got a 15% off and got the rod and some other items. Got 2 Reaction Strike eVolution Bluegills, one in the bluegill pattern and another in the crappie. Spro frogs were 25% off so I got two of those and some Kalin grubs. Also picked up some All Terain swim jigs. Also got some X Factor finesse jigs. The monkey is happy.

Nice Haul, I have a few of the Veritas rods and really like the way they feel. Very light, sensitive enough, and have very good backbone. I have not had a chance to fish any of them enough to give a solid review of them yet, but so far so good.

Congrats on the good deals and new tackle Bob! The monkey is very strong this time of year. Now, just waiting for the ice to melt!
